Caitlin’s Joy is an award-winning ball dahlia treasured for its productivity, strong stems, and beautifully complex color shifts throughout the season. Perfectly formed 2.5–4 inch blooms appear in layers of raspberry, magenta, and peach, often carrying smoky mauve or coral undertones that evolve as temperatures change. In summer, the tones lean brighter and rosier; by autumn, they soften into warmer bronze and lilac hues.
This variety is a true workhorse in the field, producing long, sturdy stems that hold their form even through rain and late-season weather. Caitlin’s Joy brings both structure and depth to arrangements, pairing effortlessly with blush, rust, and soft lavender palettes while adding that subtle iridescent glow growers love.

Shipping begins in April, once weather conditions are safe and there is no risk of tubers freezing in transit. Because we’re growing and shipping from New Hampshire, timing is guided by the season — ensuring your tubers arrive ready to grow, not rushed out too soon.

Please choose local pickup only if you can commit to this date. Orders not picked up on May 2nd will be cancelled and refunded minus a 20% restocking fee. Orders will not be shipped. You will receive an email with the address in Portsmouth, NH the week before pickup.
