Tour the Dahlia Field

There’s something different about seeing the flowers where they grow.
Our guided dahlia field tours invite you to slow down, walk the rows, and experience the field up close. This is a seasonal flower farm tour designed to be relaxed, personal, and rooted in the rhythm of the growing season.
The dahlia field is located at Bird Dog Farm + Cider, where flowers and cider share the same ground and season.
What the Tour Includes
Each dahlia field tour lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and includes:
-
A guided walk through the dahlia field
-
Time to ask questions about growing, varieties, and care
-
The opportunity to pick-your-own flowers
-
Space to wander, photograph, and enjoy the field
This is an intentionally small, conversational experience — more gathering than formal tour.
Pricing
$15 per person
You can choose the Fox Cottage Cup for the Pick-Your-Own flower experience, or upgrade to the true dahlia lover's larger bucket option.
The field is open during regular farm hours for wandering and enjoying the U-Pick section blooms at your own pace.
A guided tour, however, is a more personal, conversational experience with Shannon — where you can ask questions, learn about dahlia varieties, growing techniques, and hear the stories behind the field itself.
Think of it less like a formal class and more like walking the rows together with a grower’s perspective.
