Vassio Meggos
Pickup currently unavailable at Fox Cottage Farm
Vassio Meggos is pure drama in dahlia form — enormous lavender-lilac blooms that feel almost painted in cool watercolor tones. Each flower opens with layers of soft amethyst, blush lavender, and silvery highlights that shift with the light, creating that unmistakable romantic presence both in the garden and in large-scale arrangements. If you’re drawn to statement flowers that stop people mid-walk through the field, this is one of those unforgettable varieties.
Often described as a dinnerplate-style informal decorative, Vassio Meggos produces expansive blooms on tall, vigorous plants with long, sturdy stems perfect for cutting. It’s a true focal flower — equally stunning planted en masse or used as the centerpiece of a bouquet — bringing a soft yet bold lavender energy to late-summer gardens.
